Five of the nine terror camps were located in POJK, and the other four in Pakistan.
Digital Desk: The Indian Armed Forces' precision strikes under 'Operation Sindoor' have dismantled nine major terror camps which are associated with the Jaish-e-Mohammad (JeM), Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT), and Hizbul Mujahideen in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK).
Five of the nine terror camps were located in POJK, and the other four in Pakistan.
PoK
1. Sawai nala, Muzaffarabad- 30 km away from the Line of Control of POJK, Lashkar-E-Taiba training centre, 3 attacks, including the Pahalgam Attack, were executed here.
2. Syedna Bilal camp: Jaish-e-Mohammad staging area, jungle survivor training centre
3. Gulpur camp, Kotli: 30 km away from LOC and Lashkar-e-Taiba’s base camp, 20 April 2023, Poonch and Tirth Yatra bus attackers were trained from this camp.
4. Bhimber camp: 9 km away from LOC, arms handling and jungle survival training centre.
5. Abbas camp, Kotli: 13 km away from LoC, capacity of training 15 terrorists.
Pakistan

2.Mehmoona Joya Camp, Sialkot: 12-18 km away from the international border

4. Markaz Subanallah: 100 km away from international borders, recruitment, training, and indoctrination were practised here.
Among these destroyed camps, two of them are focused more as they serve as residences for major commanders, but also serve as epicentres of radicalisation and various training courses on intelligence and arms handling for Lashkar as well as Jaish. The strike of the targeted camps was held with precision capability, niche use of weapons with limited warheads ensured for no collateral damage. The Target was a specific building or a group of buildings. All the targets were neutralised with clinical efficiency, the result shows the planning and execution of the Indian Army.
Director General of Military Operations, Lieutenant General Rajeev Ghai, stated during the press conference that more than 100 terrorists were eliminated during Operation Sindoor, launched in retaliation for the Pahalgam Terror attack. Ghai further stated that the eliminated terrorists included those involved in the 1999 Indian Airlines flight (IC-814) hijacking and also in the Pulwama terror attack.
The Pakistani military continued with its provocation, carrying out aggressive actions by employing multiple threat vectors along the western border. Pakistan in total employed Drones, fighter aircrafts that targeted civilian areas and military infrastructure. Along the International border and LOC air intuitions and several harassment attacks were also attempted from Sri Nagar to Nalia at more than 26 locations.
Indian armed forces successfully neutralised this threat, and the majority of the vectors, but damage was limited at Indian Air Force stations:
• Udhampur
• Pathankot
• Adampur
• Bhuj
There were also high-speed missiles spotted subsequently after 0140 hours at night at several air bases in Punjab. Awantipora and Udhampur were also attacked, yet again displaying an irresponsible target of civilian infrastructure.
In a very swift and calibrated response, armed forces carried out precision attacks on identified military targets, which included technical infrastructure, command and control centres, radar sites, and weapon storage areas. The Pakistani military targets:
• Rafiki
• Murree
• Chaklala
• Rahim Yar Khan
• Sukur
• Chunian
Radar sites Pasrur and Sialkot, were also targeted using precision mentions. India ensured minimum collateral damage. Air Marshal AK Bharti emphasized the country's military capabilities, stating that India can target every system at Pakistan’s bases.
When asked about the casualties from Pakistan’s side, the Air Marshal said, "Our aim was not to inflict casualties, but in case there have been, it is for them to count. Our job is to hit the target, not to count the body bags."
