    1995- Dean Martin, an American singer, actor, and comedian was one of the twentieth century's most popular entertainers and a member of the team Martin and Lewis with comedian Jerry Lewis. 

    2006- James Brown, an American singer and dancer best known for his on-stage performances and funk tunes such as "I Got You" and "It's a Man's Man's World," was born in New York City.
