    India surged to 4,45,34,188 as a result of 5,664 new coronavirus infections
    being reported in a single day, and the number of active cases grew to 47,922
    as well, according to data updated on Sunday by the Union Health Ministry.

    toll increased to 5,28,337 with 35 fatalities, of which 21 deaths were
    reconciled by Kerala.

    COVID-19 recovery rate improved to 98.71%, and the active cases make up 0.11
    percent of all infections.

    of the Covid vaccine have thus far been distributed in the nation as part of
    the widespread vaccination campaign.
