Ramadan 2022: People in India started a month-long fast; Know the Sehri and Iftar Time-Table

Date of Ramadan 2022, Sehri and Iftar Timings, and Prayer Schedule in India: Ramzan, the month of prayer and fasting, begins on April 2, 2022.

Digital Desk: Ramadan, which began on April 2 this year, is one of the most critical months for Muslims worldwide. People observe a month-long fast, known as Roza, which ends on April 30. People eat their first meal or sehri early in the morning and break their fast with the evening meal called iftar, in the evening. For all believers, this month is fortunate and sacred.

Because the lunar calendar determines the dates, they vary from year to year. Ramadan begins when the crescent moon is seen in the ninth month of the Islamic calendar.

Ramadan, also known as Ramzan, is derived from the Arabic word 'ar-ramad,' which implies blazing heat. It is believed that the angel Gabriel delivered the words of the Quran to Muhammad during this time. Believers fast to remember and commemorate this divine revelation. Consequently, abstinence is observed, and believers are supposed to place a high focus on spiritual purity while fasting.
