    England women cricketers Katherine Brunt and Nat Sciver tie knot in private ceremony

    Both Sciver and Brunt were members of England's World Cup squad, which had reached the tournament's final.

    Sciver got married over the weekend. 



    Isa Guha,
    the former England pacer, sharing the picture of the duo's marriage on one of
    her Instagram stories, wrote: "Proud, Love you both." 



    Moreover,
    the official Twitter handle of England Cricket also congratulated the couple on
    getting married and wrote, "Our warmest congratulations to Katherine Brunt
    & Nat Sciver who got married over the weekend." 

    Notably,
    Sciver and Brunt have now become yet another cricketing couple after South
    Africa's Marizanne Kapp
     and Dane van
    Niekerk, New Zealand's Amy Satterthwaite and Lea Tahuhu 



    Both Sciver
    and Brunt were members of England's World Cup squad,
    which had reached the tournament's final.



    Australia
    was defeated in the final by England, which had won the World Cup in 2017 after
    defeating India at Lord's Cricket Stadium in London.



    Brunt has
    taken 316 wickets in 14 Tests, 140 One-Day Internationals, and 96 Twenty-20
    Internationals for England. Moreover, she had
    taken four wickets in four matches for England during this year's World Cup.



    Sciver, on
    the other hand, has played for England in seven Tests, 89 One-Day
    Internationals, and 91 Twenty20 Internationals. Sciver batted undefeated for 148 runs in the 2022 Women's
    World Cup final against Australia.



    Sciver was
    the third-highest run-scorer in the 2022 World Cup, with 436 runs in eight
    games, including 148 in the championship match.
