Digital Desk: Sources have reported a tragic incident in Manipur's Imphal West district, where one labourer lost his life and two others sustained injuries in a shooting incident. The incident occurred around 8 pm on Saturday when unidentified attackers opened fire on the laborers outside their rented residence in the Naoremthong locality's Uripok.
The deceased laborer, identified as Shree Ram Hangsada (41) from Jharkhand, was pronounced dead upon arrival at the hospital, while the other two are currently receiving treatment. It is suspected that the motive behind the shooting was an extortion demand.
