The parents of the deceased child, Badawat Malu, and Kavitha, gave him a piece of coconut to play with as he was crying. The piece got stuck in his throat, leading to suffocation.

Digital Desk: A one-year-old child died after a piece of coconut stuck in his throat in Telangana's Nekkonda Mandal.

According to reports, the accident took place around 4:30 am on Sunday.

The police officials informed that a piece of coconut that was used in pooja got stuck in the throat of the one-year-old, Manikanta. The infant suffocated to death while heading to the hospital, police added.

The parents of the deceased child, Badawat Malu, and Kavitha, gave him a piece of coconut to play with as he was crying. The piece got stuck in his throat, leading to suffocation.

Later, the child’s parents noticed the situation and immediately rushed him to Nekkonda but he died on the way.
