Digital Desk: At least 20 Members of Parliament (MPs) belonging to I.N.D.I.A alliance including Gaurav Gogoi will be visiting violence-hit Manipur on July 29 and 30.

The following is the delegation of MPs who will visit the violence-hit state:

8.   Prof. Manoj Kumar Jha (RJD)
9.   Javed Ali Khan (SP)
10. Mahua Maji (JMM)
11. P.P. Mohammed Faizal (NCP)
12. Aneel Prasad Hedge (JD-U)
13. E.T.Mohammed Basheer (IUML)
14. N.K. Premachandran (RSP)
15. Sushil Gupta (AAP)
16. Arvind Sawant (Shiv Sena)

Meanwhile, a few Trinamool Congress (TMC) leaders, including Sushmita Dev, are at present camping out in Manipur.

The other TMC leaders are Derek O. Brian, Kalyan Banerjee, Kakoli Dastidar, and Dola Sen.

It should be noted that opposition parties have been pushing for their demand ever since the monsoon session of the Parliament began. Although the opposition has insisted on debate under an adjournment motion, the government has stated that they are ready for debate on this issue.
