The incident occurred in the Canara Bank Bhawan, in the Chirwapatty area, according to the initial reports. The explosion happened at Trinetra Enterprises, a business, on the second level of the building.

Based on the information that has been gathered thus far, the explosion occurred within the establishment's cooking area, and the cook who was employed was hurt as a result of being close to the explosion.

All injured persons had been taken from Tinsukia to Dibrugarh for emergency medical care.

The cause of the explosion is yet unknown, although a cylinder blow is one possibility that is being discussed. Investigations will be conducted in-depth to uncover the facts.
