According to a Taliban representative, an investigation is ongoing, and further information will be released soon.

Digital Desk: The most recent in a string of deliberate bombings in Taliban-controlled Afghanistan left at least four people dead and 25 more injured.

According to TOLOnews, the explosion apparently happened at a mosque owned by the Taliban's Interior Ministry. According to a Taliban representative, an investigation is ongoing, and further information will be released soon.

The Kabul Emergency Hospital stated, "After a bomb assault in a mosque at the Interior Ministry, the EMERGENCY NGO Surgical Centre has received 20 victims - 2 were already dead on arrival."

The hospital informed us that this is the 23rd mass casualty of the year and the second in recent days.

Acting Country Director Dejan Panic stated that "around 2 pm, they started to receive several patients with injuries and burns, but there was no news about any explosion or attack yet." But a little while later, more victims showed up with injuries, and they said they had seen a man set off a bomb. A suicide attack took place, "he added."

There was panic since the number of wounded would, regrettably, rise once more in the coming hours and we might have to take patients from nearby clinics.
