Three people were detained as a result of the investigation; the oldest was 42 years old, while the other two were under 25.

Digital Desk: According to authorities, three men were detained in Jabalpur, Madhya Pradesh, for allegedly killing a 63-year-old man for reportedly telling others he had unnatural intercourse with the men.

According to Additional Superintendent of Police (ASP) Sanjay Agrawal, the man's body was discovered on November 9 in a field next to a farm.

He claimed the autopsy determined the elderly man had suffocated to death. A reward of Rs 10,000 was offered by the police for anyone who could provide information on the incident.

Three people were detained as a result of the investigation; the oldest was 42 years old, while the other two were under 25.

"The accused trio told the police, the old man had a physical relationship with them. They became upset after he told other persons about the act and killed him," the ASP said, adding a case of murder was registered.
