The list, created by the HR consultancy Emerging and exclusively distributed by Times Higher Education (THE), reveals which college's top employers believe do the best job of preparing applicants for the workforce.

Digital Desk: The Times Higher Education's Global Employability University Banking and Survey (GEURS) report included seven Indian universities (THE). The best Indian university was the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi (IIT-D). The world ranking for it was 28. It came in at number 27 in the 2021 rankings.

The Indian Institute of Science in Bangalore was the second-best-ranked Indian university, coming in at number 58 globally. The Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay (IIT-B) came in second at position 72. The ranking increased significantly from 97th in 2021.

The list, created by the HR consultancy Emerging and exclusively distributed by Times Higher Education (THE), reveals which college's top employers believe do the best job of preparing applicants for the workforce.

The only IIM to appear on the list was the Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad (IIM-A). It came in at number 154. IIT Kharagpur came in at number 155. The other two institutions on the list were Amity University and Bangalore University.
The top spot went to Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
 
The United States is home to five of the top ten universities on the list. United Kingdom is represented by two (UK). The best university in the UK was the University of Oxford. In the top 10, two institutions were from Asia: the National University of Singapore and the University of Tokyo, both from Japan.

According to the survey study, "MIT students, faculty, and alumni play vital roles in entrepreneurial discoveries, including establishing cutting-edge computer networks, securing venture capital deals, and improving biotechnology."

Along with the United Kingdom and the United States, France, Germany, and China are among the nations that are most well-represented in the employability ranking.
