Afghanistan: Taliban announced that talks were going on to form a new government with the Afghan political leaders, and the new government will be announced soon.

“Our political officials meet the leaders in Kabul. Their outlook is important, talks are moving, there is a hope to announce the new government soon,” said Taliban spokesperson Zabihullah Mujahid.

The report said, on Saturday, members of the Taliban’s political office met in Kabul with Afghan politicians like former President Hamid Karzai and Abdullah Abdullah, the head of the High Council for National Reconciliation (HCNR).

Moreover, the members of the Taliban office who arrive in Kabul are Shahabuddin Delawar, Abdul Salam Hanafi, Mullah Khairullah Khairkhaw and Abdul Rahmand Fida.

Confirming about the meeting with the members of the Taliban’s, Abdullah, in a Facebook post, wrote that discussions with the Taliban’s members is fixed on the political process and the establishment of an inclusive government.

However, some Afghan political leaders denounce the discussion process, asserting that the political process should be inclusive.

The head of the Nahzat-e-Hambastagi party, Sayed Eshaq Gailani, said, “I don’t like this game as a positive one as it looks like a game of a single, now everyone tries to be superior and doesn’t show respect for the Afghans.”

Moreover, the former governor of Balkh, Atta Mohammad Noor, criticizing the move, asserted that it would not accept the new government if it is not inclusive.

“The war has not come to an end, we have a long way to go, we will test the Taliban’s, we will emerge again either to resolve it through an inclusive government or war,” said Atta Mohammad Noor.
