Digital Desk: A normal human being can turn into a 'hero' overnight by his or her empathy, compassion for others, and selflessness at any point in time. Such an example was set by an auto driver recently in a city that never sleeps, Mumbai in the Indian state of Maharashtra. His name was Bhajan Singh, originally hails from Uttarakhand and does night shifts.

Actor Saif Ali Khan was rushed to Lilavati Hospital by his domestic help Hari and son Taimur on Thursday morning in an auto rickshaw following an attack at his Bandra residence by intruders. The auto driver, Bhajan Singh, who lives in Khar (East), was unable to recognize the actor but
still tried his best to take a shortcut and reach the hospital at the earliest to save a life. During the journey, Saif was bleeding with stab marks and constantly asking Bhajan Singh about the arrival time.

The 'real hero' said that Saif was wearing a white kurta that was soaked in blood. Saif, his househelp, and son Taimur were in a state of emergency so he did not even ask them for his fare amount.

He said that his only motive was to reach the hospital at the earliest. Singh said that Hari waved at him to stop his auto so that they could bring Saif to the nearby hospital. Recalling the panic situation, he said that he finally managed to reach the hospital within 7/8 minutes duration. The
hospital staff immediately took him on a stretcher after they reached Lilavati Hospital.

Bollywood actor Saif Ali Khan was stabbed six times by an intruder when the latter invaded Saif's Bandra residence. The intruder identified as Aakash Kailash Kanojia was detained later by the Mumbai Police on Saturday, on his way to Kolkata via train. The doctors have announced that Saif is now out of danger and will be discharged as soon as possible.
