Digital Desk: The Enforcement Directorate (ED) questioned actor Vijay Deverakonda on Wednesday about the sponsorship of his Bollywood film 'Liger.'

According to sources, the interrogation was done in connection with a suspected Foreign Exchange Management Act (FEMA) breach.

The film, which starred Ananya Pandey and American boxing great Mike Tyson, reportedly cost over 100 crore. However, it performed poorly at the box office. It was Deverakonda's first Bollywood film.

Funding for the film came from Karan Johar's Dharma Productions.
