Digital Desk: Kangana Ranaut enjoys patting herself on the back. The Queen star doesn't need anyone to sing her praises. Kangana considers herself one of the best actresses, and now she has found a similarity between herself and legendary singer Lata Mangeshkar.
Kangana posted a reel on her Instagram. In the video, Lata's sister Asha Bhosle shared interesting trivia about her late elder sister. Asha revealed that Lata had never entertained the idea of attending weddings and performing for money. Bhosle claimed that Lata was once given $1 million to attend a wedding for two hours, but she rejected it.
Kangana shared the video on social media and claimed that she also received offers to perform at weddings and private events. But she never supported them and rejected them. Ranaut wrote, "Agree! Even I never danced at weddings, or private parties, even though I have the most popular songs...denied insane amount of money... glad to come across this video...Lata ji truly so inspiring."
When it comes to performing at weddings and private parties, Shah Rukh Khan is one of the performers that is well-known for doing so. Although he charged a bomb, he is criticized by few for the same.
On the work front, Kangana was last seen in the disastrous Dhaakad. She will be seen next in her directorial debut, Emergency, alongside Anupam Kher, Shreyas Talpade, and Milind Soman. Kangana is also working on the action-drama Tejas which is lined up for next year. The Nightingale of India, Lata Mangeshkar, passed away on February 6, 2022. Lata Di's death will be a year old in two months, and her fans are still grieving from the loss.
