Digital Desk: A 28-year-old air hostess was discovered dead on Saturday near a high-rise building in Koramangala, after which Bengaluru police detained the woman's boyfriend. The woman was a flight attendant for a global airline and had just arrived from Dubai to meet her boyfriend.

The accused admitted to the authorities that he was dating the victim and that they frequently fought. He claimed that after a disagreement, the woman fell from the building and died. He then reported the incident to the authorities.

The Himachal Pradesh-born air hostess came to visit her lover, a software engineer who works for an IT firm. The accused is a Kerala native.

The couple argued after watching a movie on Friday night after leaving their house. According to police sources, the woman travelled to Bengaluru to see her lover after they made the decision to separate.

A suicide case was initially reported. Subsequently, a murder case was filed since it was difficult to jump from the fourth storey of the building. Police have the suspect in jail, and an investigation is ongoing.
