Digital Desk: Terrifying revelations have emerged regarding Sumit Kumar, an Indian Air Force employee, accused of engaging in espionage activities for Pakistan.

Since 2023, Sumit has reportedly been a part of the Inter-Services Intelligence's (ISI) network, leaking highly sensitive and classified information related to India's security system.

Investigations revealed that he provided secret data, including photographs of fighter jets, missile systems, strategic locations, and internal details of the Air Force camp in Chabua.

Further evidence was uncovered on Sumit's mobile phone, shedding light on the extent of his betrayal.

His actions were not confined to the Air Force base in Assam, he allegedly leaked information about other Air Force stations across the country as well.

Additionally, he shared personal details of several Air Force officials with Pakistan.

In exchange for monetary compensation, Sumit compromised national security by sharing confidential information to the ISI.

Authorities discovered significant financial transactions from Pakistan to Sumit's account.

Using his personal SIM card, he reportedly created fake accounts on social media platforms to carry out his activities.

Recently, the espionage division of Rajasthan presented Sumit Kumar, a resident of Uttar Pradesh, before a Jaipur court, where he was remanded to custody for ten days.

His arrest followed a confession by Jhabbar Ram, who had earlier been detained in Jaisalmer on similar charges.

Sumit Kumar, employed as an MTS staffer in the Air Force, was apprehended on March 22 during a joint operation conducted by the Air Force and Rajasthan's espionage division at the Chabua Air Force base.

Investigative agencies suspect that a wider network of individuals across the country may be involved in espionage activities for the ISI.
