Digital Desk: A shocking murder has been reported in Dongargaon, Nagrijuli where a minor allegedly killed his father, Parama Deka, with a machete (dao).
The incident, which occurred last Wednesday, was initially concealed by the minor and his mother, 35-year-old Purabi Deka, who buried the body in their backyard.
The crime came to light three days later when the mother and son surrendered at the local police station.
Preliminary reports suggest the killing may have been triggered by the victim's alleged history of mental harassment and torture toward the family.
Following the surrender, police and a magistrate arrived at the residence on September 5 to exhume the body for further investigation and forensic examination.
