Digital Desk: A horrific murder in broad daylight has sent shockwaves through Dhakuakhana following the discovery of the body of 62-year-old Pawan Kumar Jain.
Pawan, the brother of prominent businessman Prakash Jain, was found tied with ropes, stuffed into a sack, and concealed within a bathroom at the residence of Dhananjay Sahu in Bali Gaon.
The victim had been missing since Tuesday afternoon after leaving his commercial establishment at 1:20 PM for lunch.
When he failed to return, a search was launched, eventually leading police to Sahu's home based on a secret tip-off.
Investigations revealed that the accused, Dhananjay Sahu, had allegedly planned to dispose of the body late at night with the assistance of an e-rickshaw driver, Raju Sahu.
Police suspect the involvement of Dhananjay's wife and minor son, alongside the driver in this heinous crime.
Dhakuakhana police has already detained all four individuals as the investigation continues.
CCTV footage last captured the deceased businessman at Dhakuakhana Chariali shortly before his disappearance.
