In view of the grave situation, the AJP president demands a high-level investigation into the "Cash for Job" scams to arrest all the culprits involved in the corruption.

Digital Desk: Assam Jatiya Parishad President Lurinjyoti Gogoi on Thursday takes a dig at The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) over the cash-for-job scam at a press conference in Dibrugarh.

Speaking to media he has accused the ruling government of corruption in the recruitment process in the state. Gogoi further said that the Vajpayee Bhawan in Guwahati is the nucleus of this scam.

In all departments, including Assam Police, Agriculture, P&RD, the Forest Department, and Direct Recruitment, there is only corruption in the recruitment process, he said.

He continued saying that the State BJP has already been rocked up by the fraud after discovering that several of its leaders were directly involved in the massive "Cash for Job" scam. It has been established that BJP leaders including Abhimanyu Das, Dibon Deka, Anurag Chaliha, and Trishna Sarma were actively involved in the scam. Moreover, the prominent BJP figure Santanu Pujari's name has been also suspected of being involved in the scam.
