Digital Desk: Akshay Kumar has added another feather to his cap by breaking the Guinness World Record for the most self-portrait photographs, aka selfies taken in three minutes. The Selfiee actor has set the Guinness World Record by taking 184 selfies in three minutes at a meet-and-greet with fans in Mumbai for the promotion of his upcoming flick, "Selfiee."

Akshay Kumar has smashed James Smith's previous record of 168 self-portrait photographs taken in three minutes (USA). Earlier, in 2015, global icon and Hollywood actor Dwayne Johnson set the record with 105 self-portrait photographs (selfies) in three minutes during the San Andreas premiere in London.

Akshay opened up about breaking the Guinness record and said in a statement, "I am ecstatic at breaking this unique World Record and sharing this moment with my fans! Everything that I have achieved so far and where I am at this moment of my life is due to the unconditional love and support of my fans everywhere. This was my way of paying a special tribute to them, of acknowledging how they have stood by me and my work throughout my entire career."

Akshay Kumar will next be seen in Selfiee, co-starring Emraan Hashmi. The film will be release on February 24. It is an official Hindi version of the 2019 Malayalam-language comedy-drama 'Driving License,' starring Prithviraj and Suraj Venjaramooda. The film is produced by Karan Johar's Dharma Productions and Kumar's Cape of Good Films, as well as Sukumaran's Prithviraj Productions and Magic Frames.
