Digital Desk: The First Class Judicial Magistrate Court in Kotdwar, Uttarakhand on Wednesday permitted the narco and polygraph examinations of Pulkit Arya, the expelled BJP leader's son and the primary suspect in the murder of Ankita Bhandari.
On behalf of the Judicial Magistrate, permission was obtained from Pulkit Arya in this matter via video conferencing, and then the decision was made. The polygraph and drug test will also incorporate inquiries based on Pulkit Arya's restrictions. The court delayed the decision on the accused's polygraph and narco tests earlier this week in the Ankita Bhandari murder case for five days.

She was a receptionist for Pulkit Arya, the son of expelled BJP leader Vinod Arya, who owned a resort.
After a fight, Pulkit Arya was detained on charges of pushing the woman into a canal. Ankit Gupta and Saurabh Bhaskar, two additional suspects, have also been taken into custody. The Uttarakhand Police reported that the Ankita Bhandari murder probe is nearly finished on December 4.
The accused's narco tests are the only remaining step, for which they had requested permission from the Kotdwar court to administer narco and polygraph tests to all three of the accused. The SIT did not explain why it intended to conduct narco and polygraph tests after submitting the charge sheet, the three accused—including Pulkit Arya, the son of an expelled BJP leader—refused to submit to them.
