Digital Desk: Congress leader Ankita Dutta sat on a protest at the national highway in Majuli today, accusing the BJP government of cheating the youth of Assam in the name of ‘Job Fair’.
Ankita, President of the Assam Pradesh Youth Congress Committee, has already made a special impact in the field of politics.
The Job fair was organized on Thursday by the Assam government to provide jobs to the unemployed youths of the state. In the job fair, some private companies participated to find employees for their institutions; however, companies that participated in the fair seeking employees have been accused of insulting the educated unemployed youths of the state through its behaviour.

Meanwhile, lashing out at Assam chief minister Himanta Biswa Sarma, the Youth Congress’ president Ankita Dutta arrived in Majuli this morning on a two-day visit amidst reactions to the incident from all over the state.
Protesting at the national highway, Ankita alleged that the government has wiped out the dreams of the youth in the name of ‘Job Fair’.
She stated that it is ridiculous to hold a job fair to give jobs to the highly educated youths of Assam at companies like Marigold.
Further, she demanded an apology from the Assam chief minister Himanta Biswa Sarma for insulting the youths through the job fair.
