California: On Monday, leading tech brand Apple unveiled a new version of its MacBook Pro laptop.

The launch was held virtually in its headquarters in Cupertino, United States. It was available through live streaming on its official website along with its YouTube channels and Apple TV application. 

Apple launched its Mac Book pro laptops in two different sizes. They are 14.2 inch and 16.2 inch respectively. 

As far as resolution is concerned, these laptops have been equipped with Liquid Retina XDR displays with mini LED technology. According to reports, the smaller panel comes with a resolution of 3024x1964 pixels, while the bigger one has 3456x2234 pixels in it.

In terms of price, the starting price of the 14 inch version is INR 1,94,900 and 2,39,900 depending on the model specifications.  Alternatively, the 16 inch version can be bought within India from INR 2,39,900 to 3,29,900. Presently these models come in two color options, which are silver and space gray.

This new MacBook pro is powered by the new M1 chips of Apple which helps the system for faster performance and longer battery life. This also enables users to use the laptop for heavy multitasking and also use up to 10,000 apps and plug-ins.

Both the versions of the laptop also have a six-speaker Dolby Atoms audio system for an enhanced audio experience.

Desired buyers can pre-order this new Apple product from Tuesday. They will also be available for physical purchase from 26th October at the official Apple stores across the country.
