Digital Desk: Two youths were detained and illegal weapons were confiscated from their possession at Talap in Assam's Tinsukia district.
On Friday, the Talap Police and Doom Dooma Police conducted joint operations and apprehended the duo.
The arrested youths have been identified as Biman Moran and Modhu Moran.
A 22mm pistol and three live rounds of ammo were seized from the duo's possession.
Currently, the Doom Dooma Police are interrogating them.
The police stated that the duo is from Bordumsa in the Changlang district of Arunachal Pradesh.
