Digital Desk: The first list of candidates for the 2024 Lok Sabha elections has been revealed by the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). 

The Assam candidates' names are included in this announcement. 

Several front-runners on the list are anticipated to represent the party in different parts of the state.

Here is the list:

Guwahati  - Bijuli Kalita Medhi, 
Dibrugarh - Sarbananda Sonowal, 
Kaziranga - Kamakhya Prasad Tasa, 
Jorhat       - Tapan Gogoi, 
Tezpur      -  Ranjit Dutta, 
Darang     - Udalguri-Dilip Saikia, 
Karimganj - Kripanath Mallah, 
Silchar      - Parimal Suklabaidya, 
Nagaon     - Suresh Bora, 
Lakhimpur - Pradan Barua, 
Diphu        -  Amar Singh Tiso

The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) will be contesting for 11 of the 14 seats in the upcoming Lok Sabha election, giving the alliance, the AGP (Barpeta and Dhubri), two seats, and the United People's Party Liberal (UPPL) (Kokrajhar) one.
