CM is closely observing the preparations for the upcoming event to ensure its success...

Digital Desk: Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma said on Saturday that Prime Minister Narendra Modi will attend the Bihu ceremony on April 14 in Guwahati.

"Assam is going to witness a historic occasion on April 14 as more than 11,000 boys and girls will participate in Bihu which will be watched by Prime Minister Narendra Modi," Sarma said while attending the Mega Bihu event in Tezpur.

"The Prime Minister's visit will improve the morale of the people of Assam since we see Bihu as Assam's lifeblood," Sarma remarked.

Statewide preparations are in progress for the grandest Bihu performance.

In advance of the upcoming Rongali Bihu on April 14, where the largest demonstration in a single place will feature over 11,000 Bihu dancers performing in front of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the Assam government started a publicity campaign in the nation's capital.

The Assam government, led by Himanta Biswa Sarma, is working tirelessly to make the upcoming Bihu celebration in Guwahati the largest gathering ever and to enter it into the Guinness Book of World Records.

As the event approaches, CM is personally keeping an eye on the planning to ensure its success.
