Digital Desk: In a statement released by Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma, there are 50,000 police officers in the state, 10,000 of them need to be inspected.

"Out of which, 80 percent of Assam police are good and 20 percent are not good," Sarma remarked.

"At least 10,000 police officers must be checked." Four and five of them have been addressed; the list is lengthy. "We live in peace here because there are 80 percent good people in the police force," CM continued.
