Digital Desk: On December 20, Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma visited Kokrajhar and Chirang district and inaugurated the newly constructed Bathou temple at Bagansali in Kokrajhar.

In addition, speaking to the media, the chief minister stated, "PM Modi launched the Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra on November 15. Under this sankalp yatra, one can collect knowledge about numerous government schemes and register names in those government schemes, particularly Ujjwala Gas and several Bima schemes such as the Ayushman cards for Assam units. I am confident that the public will gain from the Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra."

The Chief Minister will participate in the Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra organised at Kashipara ground near Gaonburha Bhawan during a one-day visit to the BTR region.

The chief minister arrived at Bijni, Chirang district, shortly after the kokrajhar programme concluded.
