In addition, action will be taken against the centre from which the question paper was obtained.

Digital Desk: Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma on March 6 summoned the SEBA secretary Naranyaran Nath over alleged exam paper leaks said sources.

According to sources, the secretary of the Assam Board of Secondary Education (SEBA) has given the board three days to react.

In addition, action will be taken against the centre from which the question paper was obtained.

As per sources, the High School Leaving Certificate (HSLC) Mathematics test papers were leaked in Assam's Cachar district on March 6.

The paper went viral on the second day of the HSLC exam, shortly after 15 minutes of the Mathematics exam began.

A few images of the question paper went viral on social media sites, and the material is alleged to have been leaked from an examination centre in Lakhipur.

The Cachar Education Department, on the other hand, has yet to comment on the paper leak issue.

It's worth noting that on the first day of the exam, there were rumours that the English question paper had been leaked from the Barpeta region.

In a statement, SEBA secretary and exam controller Nath rejected the charges, calling media reporting on the subject inaccurate and unjustified.

As many as 4,23,000 students from around the state are taking the HSLC exam this year, and the exams are being held in accordance with the National Education Policy requirements (NEP).

As a result, SEBA has made adjustments to four important courses for the HSLC exams.

According to rumours, SEBA has made various adjustments to the HSLC exam disciplines like as Mathematics, General Science, English, and Social Science.

According to the revised NEP standards, these four sections in the HSLC exam will now have two answer sheets. The first answer sheet will be eight pages long and will contain objective-type questions, while the second answer sheet will be 16 pages long and will contain descriptive-type questions.

The HSLC tests will be held in 912 exam centres this year, beginning on March 3 and concluding on March 20.
