In his announcement, Sarma expressed confidence that Dr. Teron embodies the aspirations of tribal communities and that his appointment would significantly amplify their perspectives in legislative affairs. The move is widely seen as a strategic step to ensure broader participation and address the concerns of indigenous groups across the state.
The Chief Minister extended his best wishes to Dr. Teron for his prospective new responsibilities, signaling strong support for his candidature. This nomination aligns with the state government's ongoing efforts to integrate diverse communities into mainstream political discourse and decision-making.
