Guwahati: Assam reported 322 fresh covid-19 cases on Thursday, taking the active caseload to 2,403. The positivity rate now stands at 0.81 percent.
The total number of covid-19 tests conducted in the last 24 hours was 39,629.
Reportedly, two people have succumbed to covid-19 on Thursday, while 408 were recovered and discharged.

The district with the highest number of covid cases has been reported from Kamrup (Metro)-141, Barpeta-30, Lakhimpur-23 and Jorhat-20.
The total number of recoveries of the state has reached 6,00,089 with a recovery rate of 98.40 percent.
Moreover, covid –related fatalities in the state have reached 5,989 with a death rate of 0.98 percent.
