Digital Desk: Dispur Police detained two people on Monday night in connection with the murder of Purabi Dairy Manager Ranjit Bora.
According to authorities, the two suspects were apprehended at the scene of the incident.
The incident was reported in Guwahai's Panjabari, according to Dispur Police officers. A earlier stated that Bora died at 12:44 p.m.
The accused are being questioned by the police.
The police have received various leads on which to base their investigation.
Ranjit Bora died from bullet wounds at Gauhati Medical College and Hospital (GMCH) on Monday morning, after miscreants opened fire on the businessman in Panjabari.
The incident occurred while he was on his way to the bank to deposit money.
