Digital Desk: Assam Assam State Transport Corporation (ASTC) has launched its online bus e-ticketing service, a release said on Saturday.

Assam Electronics Development Corporation Limited (AMTRON) and ASTC worked together to launch the service in the state's Kamrup Metro and Sonitpur districts first, a statement published by ASTC Managing Director Rahul Chandra Das read.

As soon as the software is updated to include coverage of the entire state, passengers will be able to use the ASTC buses' e-ticketing service for both city and inter-district routes.

Passengers can contact the assistance desk or grievance redressal cell at astc2009@gmail.com, and tickets will be available at www.astcbus.com.

Notably, a 24/7 toll-free help desk at 1800-345-3986 is also in place to address passenger grievances, if any, the release added.
