Earlier, the monsoon session, which started on July 18, and was supposed to end on August 12, ended four days ahead of schedule.   

Digital Desk: Assam Legislative Assembly Deputy Speaker Numal Momin said on Saturday that the Assam Legislative Assembly's autumn session will begin on September 12.

It will take place from September 12 through September 19.

"There have already been 13 measures submitted for this session, and another two or three are anticipated. The legislature will introduce and examine these proposals,  Momin told ANI.

He added that the opposition political parties would be able to present any grievances during the session, and the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is ready to address them.
