Digital Desk: In an unfortunate incident, a mother and daughter committed suicide on Friday at a rented house in Guwahati.
Reportedly, the mother's body was found hanging alongside her 7-year-old child at Sijubari Chariali in Hatigaon.
As per a video that surfaced before the woman committed suicide, she claimed that her husband physically and mentally tortured her.
"I didn't have peace while I was alive; please pray for me to have peace after I die," she said.
According to the video, her husband used to roam around at night, keeping them at home, and beat her after being influenced by his family members.
Meanwhile, police reached the spot and started their investigations.

The police have arrested her husband, Azad Ali, based on claims made in the video.
