Digital Desk: The Assam-Nagaland border once again becomes tense after some armed Naga miscreants threaten to kill a young tea worker if he does not leave the border area.

The armed Naga miscreants warned the tea worker, identified as Asim Gogoi, that they would shoot him with their weapons if he didn't leave the area.

People in the area were left feeling threatened by the incident and in a panicked situation.

This is not the first time that a situation like this has transpired along the border territories that Assam shares with the other Northeastern states.

Previously on April 22, a day after Assam and Arunachal Pradesh signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to solve a long-standing border conflict that has been an issue for over five decades, panic grabbed the border as unidentified miscreants resorted to blank fire in the Rampur area.

The Assam Forest Department patrol team claims that miscreants in the border region beats and mistreated them, and further pushed them out.
