Based on a complaint made by SP Deuri, Helena was detained at her home at Kahilipara's Shanti Plaza Apartment.
Digital Desk: On Wednesday morning, Tinsukia Police, with the assistance of Dispur Police, detained a lady accused of blackmailing in Guwahati.
According to authorities, the woman, named Helena, claimed to be the second wife of Tinsukia Police Station Superintendent of Police Debojit Deuri.
Helena was detained at her home in Kahilipara's Shanti Plaza Apartment after SP Deuri filed a report.
The SP accused her of blackmailing him and alleging that the child she had with him was of SP Debojit's.
Helena, on the other hand, stated that she was seeking funds for her son's education. Debojit, she claimed, is her son's father.
It should be noted that Helena and Debojit did not formally marry but had been together for 14 years.
Debojit purchased her cars, house, and other possessions.
