Assam is getting ready for the third round of the Lok Sabha elections, in which 47 candidates are running in four constituencies.

Digital Desk: Campaigning for the Lok Sabha elections is continuing in full swing in Assam where four seats will go to polls in the third phase on May 7.

Congress leader Priyanka Gandhi Vadra will arrive in Dhubri to address a public meeting today According to the Assam Pradesh Congress Committee (APCC) office, Priyanka's public meeting is scheduled in Balajan, Dhubri. She will campaign for Congress's Dhubri Lok Sabha candidate Rakibul Hussain. 

The general secretary of the Congress will assist Congress candidate Rakibul Hussain in Dhubri, hoping to encourage voters and support the party's goals. 

Given that this is Priyanka's second visit to the state in less than a month, Assam is strategically significant to Congress's election strategy. She vigorously campaigned for Gaurav Gogoi, the party's nominee for the Jorhat assembly seat, on her earlier visit on April 16. 

Assam is getting ready for the third round of the Lok Sabha elections, in which 47 candidates are running in four constituencies. Excitement is high for a compelling and important election battle as the state prepares for the final round on May 7.
