The directive entails a rescheduling of normal school timings across both Government and Private Educational Institutions within the district.
The revised school timings are as follows:
- Lower Primary Schools: 7:30 AM - 12:00 NOON
- Middle English Schools/Upper Primary Schools: 7:30 AM - 12:30 PM
- High Schools & Higher Secondary Schools: 7:30 AM - 1:00 PM
In addition to the adjusted timings, several precautionary measures have been outlined:
- Outdoor activities, such as morning assemblies, will be relocated to school verandahs or shady areas to shield students from the intense heat.
- Students are advised to carry water bottles and ensure they stay hydrated throughout the day.
