Digital Desk: At least eight people were injured after a night bus collided with a dumper truck in Assam’s Golaghat district.

The incident reportedly took place on National Highway 37 in the Dergaon area.

Reports claimed that the bus, which was coming from Tinsukia and heading towards Guwahati, skidded off the road and rammed into the dumper truck parked on the highway.

It is to be noted that several passengers, including the driver of the bus, were injured in the incident.

Notably, the injured were rushed to the Jorhat Medical College and Hospital for further treatment.
