Digital Desk: As many as 20 school students sustained injuries after a bamboo bridge collapsed over a river in the Dhemaji district of Assam.
This incident was reported from the Chahbari area in Dhemaji district of Assam on Thursday morning.
The bamboo bridge collapsed while students were trying to cross the bridge on their way to school. After hearing the screams of the students, locals reached the spot and rescued them.
It is said that at least five of the injured students are in critical condition.
The injured students are being treated at the Dhemaji Civil Hospital in Assam.
