According to media sources, the main summit would take place in Delhi in October-November 2023. 

Digital Desk: As part of the G20 summit in 2023, India will host more than 200 events distributed across major metropolises, with Assam hosting approximately 5 of the total events to be conducted in India.

From January 2023 to April 2023, Assam will host about five G20 summits. India will hold the G20 Presidency for one year beginning December 1, 2022.

As the country prepares for the summit in 2023, official sources told the media that India will host more than 200 events in major cities such as Delhi, Chennai, Kolkata, Mumbai, and Guwahati as part of the summit.

As reported to G Plus, a source in Dispur said on the condition of anonymity, “Five events will be organized in Assam. Four meetings will be held in Guwahati and one in Dibrugarh. “The sources further stated that the venues are not yet decided as a central team will visit Assam soon to decide and fix the venues.

On November 8, Prime Minister Narendra Modi presented the logo, theme, and website for the G20 Summit in 2023. The next summit will be one of the most important international gatherings ever held in India.

According to media sources, the main summit would take place in Delhi in October-November 2023. The 20 permanent G20 members, as well as other invitees and 10 to 12 world bodies, will be on the list of invitees.

The United Nations (UN), the International Monetary Fund (IMF), the World Trade Organization, the World Health Organization (WHO), and others are among them.

According to media reports, the leaders of permanent invitee countries such as Singapore, Spain, the Netherlands, Bangladesh, and Egypt will also attend the summit.

T-20 summits, think tank summits, W-20 women's summits, and Y-20 youth summits are among the 200 events planned as part of the G20 summit.

The sessions will concentrate on health, labour, finance, the environment, education, renewable energy, climate change, the pandemic, and other global challenges.
