The dumper was engulfed in flames within a short span of time
Digital Desk: Today afternoon , fire broke out in a moving dumper at Jagiroad, triggering panic in the area. The dumper, bearing registration number AS-01RC-4754, was carrying materials belonging to Dalmia Cement at the time of the incident.
As per sources, the vehicle was transporting fly ash of the cement company from Barahu Railway Station when the fire suddenly erupted in the middle of Jagiroad. The dumper was engulfed in flames within a short span of time.
Fortunately, the driver of the vehicle and three other individuals narrowly escaped unharmed.
Fire and Emergency Services personnel later arrived at the scene and managed to bring the blaze under control. Police from Jagiroad also reached the spot and took necessary steps to control the situation.
