All India United Democratic Front stated party currently planning to fight alone for elections and showed confidence that...

Digital Desk: On October 20, the All India United Democratic Front (AIUDF) Chief Badruddin Ajmal stated that the party will not form an alliance with the Congress or the BJP for the forthcoming Lok Sabha elections in 2024.

Ajmal stated that the party is now intending to fight the polls alone and is confident that it would win three seats, but that Congress will not win a single seat because it is no longer a factor for any party in Assam.

However, Ajmal did note a new development in which the party may consider making some 'adjustments' in the near future due to the presence of multiple other parties in the state.

"For the time being, we intend to fight the Lok Sabha elections alone." A fresh development has entered the fray. We may need to make a change with someone in the coming days. We will never form an alliance with Congress. We will not proceed with the partnership even if they wish to. There are a number of other parties. A transformation is taking place. I will notify you as soon as possible. There would be no partnership with the BJP. "Everything is being kept under wraps," Ajmal told reporters.

"Collaboration with Congress is not possible. It is impossible to form an alliance with both the Congress and the BJP. Across Assam, Congress is no longer a factor for any party." said Ajmal.

The Congress Party will not win a single seat in the Lok Sabha elections. It will be a huge problem this time if it even gains even a single seat," Ajmal added.

"Three confirmed seats for the AIUDF in the 24th election." Apart from that, conversations are ongoing with a specific party for the remaining two seats," Badruddin Ajmal said, without naming the party.
