Digital Desk: At the prestigious Mrs. World International 2025, Gargi Kalita from Assam made her state and the entire nation proud by taking home the special "Mrs Timeless Beauty" title in addition to the second runner-up title. On July 12, 2025, the grand finale brought together inspirational married women from all over India
Originally, Gargi Kalita was a household name in the Assamese entertainment world and made her presence felt in various TV serials and stage plays as well, in Assam. She came to notice as the former lead actress in the Assamese film Ruff and Tuff. She, however, decided to quit her blossoming career and embrace motherhood.
Gargi now resides in Ahmedabad, and she auditioned for Mrs world International on 1st June, 2025. She auditioned among thousands of exceptional women, and she was selected as one of the 152 finalists. From July 8 to 11, she took part in intensive grooming and training sessions leading up to the grand finale.
At the finale, Gargi's poise, confidence, and inspiring life story captivated the judges. She advanced from the top 30 to the top 15, made it into the final top 5, and proudly clinched the 2nd Runner-Up position. Her grace and enduring charm also earned her the title of Mrs Timeless Beauty.
Gargi is the daughter of the late Babul Kalita and Mrs. Dipali Kalita. She is married to Vivek Sharma, who is an employee of the Adani Group.
The Mrs World International pageant is spearheaded by Mrs. Barkha Nangia and Mr. Abhishek Nangia. Through this achievement, Gargi hopes to inspire countless women to pursue their passions, proving that it’s never too late to dream again and shine anew.
