The NFR intends to add more stations in the future to be recognized by the FSSAI...

Digital Desk: The Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (FSSAI) has certified two railway stations in Assam as "Eat Right Stations."

The two railway stations are the Rangiya Railway Station and Mariani Railway Station of the Northeast Frontier Railways (NFR).

This award is given in appreciation of the two train stations' commitment to providing passengers with high-quality and nutritious food.

The FSSAI's certification is evidence of the success of railway stations that set the standard for providing passengers with healthy and safe meals. As Rangiya and Mariani Railway Stations have followed the strict requirements set by the FSSAI, they have been recognized for their excellent food offerings.

For the Rangiya Railway Station, the certification is valid from September 25, 2023, until September 24, 2025. On the other hand, Mariani Railway Station's certification is valid from October 19, 2023, to October 18, 2025.

According to sources, the NFR intends to add more stations in the future to be recognized by the FSSAI as an "Eat Right Station," for which the required work is being done.

Additionally, Northeast Frontier Railway plans to add more stations in the future to become an FSSAI-designated "Eat Right Station," for which the required preparations are being made, as part of its ongoing commitment to guarantee that passengers receive safe and hygienic food.
