The incident occurred at around 11.35 a.m. on Thursday in the Kajwali Chak area, when one Mahendra Mandal family members were making firecrackers.

  Digital Desk: A massive blast in a house in Bhagalpur, Bihar, killed at least four people and severely injured twelve others on Thursday night, police said. Reportedly, the explosion severely destroyed at least three homes Bhagalpur Deputy Inspector General (DIG) Sujeet Kumar said that the injured had been sent to a local government hospital and efforts were on to remove the debris from the spot. Reportedly, the event occurred at around 11.35 a.m. on Thursday in the Kajwali Chak area, when family members of one Mahendra Mandal were making firecrackers. The explosion had a four-kilometer radius of effect. Further, the DIG said, “The tragedy appeared to have been caused by an explosion during the manufacturing of firecrackers at first glance.” The DIG also added that the bomb disposal squad and a team of forensic experts have rushed to the scene to investigate the incident.
