Digital Desk: A bomb inside a mosque in Pakistan's Peshawar killed at least 20 people and injured 96 more on Monday.

The explosion occurred at about 1.40 p.m., following the Zuhr prayers. The blast caused one side of the mosque to collapse.

Debris on the ground was visible in a video filmed from within the mosque.

According to Geo News, a suicide attacker blew himself up inside the mosque during prayers. According to security officials, the suicide attacker was in the first row during prayers when he blew himself up.

A state of emergency has been declared in the area, and the area has been blocked off.
